    Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking an Physician-level Medical Officers to support U.S. Department of State worldwide protective services operations. Based in the United States, the Medical Officer supports overseas contract healthcare providers with medical direction services, and from time to time conducts field inspections of medical operations.

    Responsibilities

    The Medical Officer provides specialized medical oversight in the development and administration of contract emergency medical systems and is an essential liaison with local agencies, hospitals, and national professional organizations, as well as federal partners. The Medical Officer provides essential medical leadership, system oversight, coordination of guideline development for routine and disaster care, identification and implementation of best practices, system quality improvement, and research. The Medical Officer ensures that optimal care is delivered by field medical personnel at all times.

    Qualifications

    • U.S. citizen
    • Level three (3) English language proficiency
    • Must be trained and certified to current US-recognized medical standards
    • Must possess current state medical licensure
    • Must possess current DEA licensure
    • Tactical medicine background is preferable
    • Must possess AHA ACLS and ACS ATLS
    • Must have successfully completed TCCC or a comparable advanced trauma course featuring exceptional simulation training within the last ninety (90) days
    • Must possess a minimum of eight (8) years experience in one of the following specialties:
      • Emergency Medicine Specialist (defined by current Board certification) with a broad interest and experience in providing primary care across the range of office-based specialties including, but not limited to, GYN, dermatology, ENT, pulmonary, cardiovascular, ophthalmology, orthopedics, psychology, and gastroenterology
      • Family Medicine Specialist (defined by current Board certification) with interests as defined above and with an interest, additional training, and practice experience to include the broad range of gynecologic, medical, surgical, orthopedic, psychiatric, and trauma emergencies
      • Internal Medicine Specialist (defined by current Board certification) with interests as defined above and with an interest, additional training, and practice experience to include the broad range of gynecologic, medical, surgical, orthopedic, psychiatric, and trauma emergencies
