  • Overview

    Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking FAA-licensed Aircraft Dispatchers to support U.S. Department of Justice operations. The contractor services are provided on an on-call basis, normally 2-3 eight (8) hours shifts per week. An ACTIVE U.S. Government SECRET security clearance is required for this role.

    • Analyzes aviation weather reports and forecasts to determine optimum flight routes
    • Creates and files flight plans to ensure safe and economical aviation operations
    • Determines aircraft weight, balance, and performance for each departure and destination
    • Coordinates with pilots and air route traffic control centers to re-route aircraft as required
    • Arranges enroute refueling, servicing, and maintenance of aircraft
    • Integrates resources from multiple agencies to obtain diplomatic overflight clearances
    • Maintains situational awareness on each aircraft throughout mission accomplishment
    • Provides the command and control link between senior leaders and deployed aircraft
    • Computes amount of fuel required for safe completion of flight according to type of aircraft, distance of flight, maintenance limitations, weather conditions and minimum fuel requirements as outlined in the General Operating Manual
    • Monitors and tracks the movement of aircraft throughout scheduled flights
    • Monitors arrival and departure times of aircraft via radio and telephone updates
    • Provides coordination in event of emergencies or request for maintenance assistance
    • Analyzes, evaluates and documents meteorological information to determine potential hazard to safety of flight


    • U.S. Citizenship required
    • Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or above
    • Must pass a pre-employment security investigation and drug screening
    • A one year trial/probationary period may be required
    • Shift work is required
    • Completion of FAA Certified Aircraft Dispatcher Academy
    • Completion of Recurrant Aircraft Dispatcher Training
    • One (1) year service agreement after training completion
