Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Physicial Therapy Assistants to support U.S. Government contracts in the San Antonio, TX area. Shift scheduling is full-time, Mon-Fri, 0700-1700, with 8-10 hour shifts. Three (3) positions are available with highly competitive packages.

  • Assist Physical Therapists in the administration of PT treatment program
  • Assess patient's functional status using standard and non-standard methods and techniques such as manual muscle testing, range of motion, and/or balance testing
  • Evaluate, develop, and implement physical therapy treatment plans without direct supervisory guidance to meet the varying needs of the patients
  • Plan and execute innovative treatment programs to meet complex and frequent changes in treatment objectives
  • Treat patients referred by care providers using techniques in therapeutic exercises, muscle re-education, gait training, functional training (activities of daily living)
  • Develop a treatment plan in collaboration with the patient and caregiver directed toward achieving maximum level of functioning within the home, establishing realistic, measurable patient goals
  • Implement physical therapy assessments and treatments based on comprehensive knowledge of new concepts and research
  • Communicate patient's treatment progress to clinical staff and patient's families
  • Use standard and non-standard complex methods and techniques for evaluating and interpreting a wide variety of patients physical functional levels
  • Provide progressive rehabilitative treatments in home as needed
  • Evaluate and refer patients to Prosthetic Service for all ADL equipment needs (I.e. wheelchairs, ADL aids)
  • Participate in interdisciplinary staff planning/discussions on patient care
  • Participate in the HBPC Performance Improvement Program, including completing assessment and documentation required by performance measures applicable to the PT's role
  • Follow infection control and safety procedures
  • Document initial assessments, treatment plans/goals, and response to treatment as determined in subsequent patient home visits, telephone calls, and case management work, according to licensure and Joint Commission standards
  • Submit supporting documentation for reports as requested e.g., Joint Commission, Management Briefings, etc
  • Abide by VA and HIPAA patient confidentiality regulations in documentation, consultation, and release of information


  • Graduation from a degree program in Physical Therapy or Physical Therapy Assistant from a college or university approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
  • Possess and maintain a valid unrestricted current license from any US jurisdiction
  • One (1) year of recent Physical Therapy Assistant experience in the United States
  • Maintain a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • No record of disciplinary action that would currently exclude, suspend, or terminate him/her as an authorized VA healthcare provider
