  • Overview

    Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Ultrasound) Technologists to support operations at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System located at 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304. Services to be provided include the full range of Ultrasound care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients to include call shift. Compensation includes an hourly wage and extensive benefits. Available shifts:

    • Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM with on call service

    **Full-time, Travel, and Per Diem candidates are considered for this position.**

    • Provides Ultrasound care covering the range of services that would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility, at a standard of care that equals or exceeds VA Standards and the TJC
    • Adheres to the ARDMS Practice Guidelines and Technical Standards to improve the quality of services to VA patients
    • Promotes the safe and effective use of Ultrasound through the utilization of specific training, skills, and techniques
    • Performs organ-specific and subspecialty-specific imaging including:
      • Abdomen - Gastrointestinal
      • Abdomen – Genitourinary
      • Breast Imaging
      • Cardiovascular/Extremity
      • Pelvis
      • Small Parts
    • Performs related administrative tasks



    • High School Diploma
    • Certificate of Completion from a Diagnostic Medical Sonography training program accredited by an institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and the JCERT
    • Current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
    • A minimum of five (5) years of proven clinical experience in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in a Level 1 hospital setting
    • Must have proven extensive clinical work experience within the past 12 months
    • Must have prior work experience with the Siemens S2000/S3000 system
    • Prior VA experience is desirable
