  • Overview

    Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologists to support operations at VA facilities in Topeka, KS and Leavenworth, KS. Services to be provided include the full range of MRI care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients to include call shift (if necessary). Compensation includes an hourly wage and extensive benefits. Available shifts:

    • Mon-Sun, including first shift (8:00am-4:30pm or 9:00am-5:30pm)

    Responsibilities

    • Operates a Philips 1.0 high field open MRI and/or GE 1.5 Tesla scanners or similar type of equipment, and performs the full complement of contrast and non-contrast exams generated by this technology, as demonstrated by past work experience
    • Responsible for entering exam information into the medical centers Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VISTA) as required by service policies and procedures
    • Work under the general guidance of the MRI Supervisor and the direct guidance of the radiologist during exams
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma
    • Certificate of Completion from a Radiologic Technologist training program accredited by an institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and the JCERT
    • Advanced certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR) is a requirement
    • A minimum of two (2) years of hospital or ambulatory care experience
    • Must have prior work experience with the Philips 1.0 high field open MRI and/or GE 1.5 Tesla scanner or similar equipment
    • Prior VA experience is desirable
