  • Overview

    Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Ultrasound) Technologists to support operations at VA facilities in Topeka, KS and Leavenworth, KS. Services to be provided include the full range of Ultrasound care for inpatient and outpatient VA patients to include call shift (if necessary). Compensation includes an hourly wage and extensive benefits. Available shifts:

    • Mon-Sun, first shift (staggered start 6:30am-8:30am, 8-hour shifts)

    Responsibilities

    • Operates GE Logiq E9 or similar type of equipment, performs the full complement of exams generated by this technology
    • Responsible for entering exam information into the medical centers Veterans Health Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VISTA) as required by service policies and procedures
    • Work under the general guidance of the Supervisory Diagnostic Radiology Technologist and the direct guidance of the radiologist during exams
    • Performs other duties assigned

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma
    • Certificate of Completion from a Diagnostic Medical Sonography training program accredited by an institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), and the JCERT
    • Current certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
    • A minimum of two (2) years hospital or ambulatory care experience
    • Must have prior work experience with the GE Logiq E9 or similar type of equipment
    • Prior VA experience is desirable
