    Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking a Program Manager to oversee and support acquistion operations for the Walter Reed Army Insitute Research (WRAIR) located at 503 Robert Grant Avenue 3A04, Silver Spring, MD 20910. The WRAIR aims to conduct biomedical research that is responsive to Department of Defense and US Army requirements and delivers life-saving products including knowledge, technology, and medical material that sustain the combat effectiveness of the Warfighter. Compensation includes a competitive hourly wage and extensive benefits.

    Responsibilities

    • Supervises and participates in the preparation of federal procurement and assistance award, and administration of commercial and government contracts in accordance with policies and legal requirements
    • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
    • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
    • Performs a variety of tasks
    • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field
    • Demonstrated experience working in DoD contracting (R&D preferred) with a deep understanding of the FAR, DFARS, AFARS, DoD 7000.14-R, OMG Circular A-110, OMB Circular A-102
    • Demonstrated experience leading and supervising teams
    • Demonstrated experience in a similar dynamic OPTEMPO environment (n~300 discrete contract actions annually)
    • Demonstrated experience leading and implementing transformational changes in acquisition (risk benefit analysis, business process change implementation) which is problem focused within systems constraints
    • Demonstrated managing and mitigating stakeholder expectations
    • Demonstrated experience working in high profile environment (O6 level)
