  • Overview

    Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking In-flight Paramedics to support U.S. Department of Justice operations. The position is full-time and services are provided on an on-call basis. Missions last two (2) to sixteen (16) hours.

    • Responds to all medical emergencies, maintains custody of medical records, medications, and related medical equipment of all prisoners at all times; the Paramedic will also maintain custody and control of government-owned medical equipment (i.e. oxygen tanks, ZOLL cardiac monitor AEDs, and other medical supplies) while in the performance of their duties
    • The Paramedic shall comply with all special security instructions issued by the government concerning any prisoner being transported; in the event of a physical disturbance, escape attempt, or actual escape, the Paramedic must immediately notify the government team lead in charge of the mission
    • Maintain a daily inventory of medical equipment and supplies
    • Maintain a daily inventory of equipment assigned to specific aircraft (i.e. cellular telephone, medical equipment, and devices)
    • Required to submit to the government an expenditure form for supplies utilized on the mission
    • Comply with all government policies and procedures to include both aviation and ground safety
    • Cooperate fully with federal, state, and local investigators concerning criminal, civil, and safety related investigations
    • Bring all security related questions and concerns to the attention of the government or team lead
    • Be available and prepared for work on any assignment as needed and/or directed.
    • At no time is the Paramedic authorized to carry or stow weapons of any kind on board any government operated aircraft


    • US citizen
    • Maintain current National Registry Paramedic (NRP) certification
    • Maintain current proficiency as a Paramedic
    • Maintain current cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Must possess current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
    • Maintain an AED certification
    • Experience with bloodborne pathogens and equipment use
    • Be currently involved in continuous education training
    • Able to prepare electronically-generated clearly and concisely written reports
