Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting Cytotechnologists to support the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System located at 3601 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ 85723. Services will be delivered to all requesting departments throughout the facility. Exceptional compensation packages with full benefits are available.

Responsibilities

  • Process cytology specimens
  • Prepare and stain cytology slides for GYN and non-GYN specimens
  • Make preliminary diagnoses independently of the physician cytologist
  • Assist with fine needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy procedures
  • Prepare and stains FNA smears

Qualifications

  • An Bachelor-level degree from an accredited educational institution
  • ASCP professional certification or equivalent Nationally-recognized Cytopathology certification or categorical certification in cytopathology
  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience within the last three (3) years
  • Experience in U.S. Government facilities in preferred
