    Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking qualified full-time Pharmacists to support multiple healthcare facilities in the Prescott, AZ area. Competitive full-time packages with excellent benefits are available for qualified candidates. Multiple shifts schedules are available. On-call hours may be available with a two (2) hour notice period for any unscheduled shift.

    Responsibilities

    • Provides drug information to the facility staff concerning proper drug selection, optimal dosage and route of administration, recognition and management of drug interactions and reactions, and proper handling and storage of medications.
    • Provides patient education and information on the drugs prescribed upon discharge from the hospital and upon ambulatory care clinic visits.
    • Effectively documents pharmaceutical care in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Accepts verbal orders on medication clarifications and changes in terms of drug, dose, route of administration, and automatic stop dates.
    • Reviews patient's medication profiles for duplication of therapy and drug interactions. Accesses appropriate patient records for proper evaluations of clinical situations and therapeutic decision-making.
    • Interviews patients to obtain additional information regarding disease state/drug therapy when evaluating a clinical situation.
    • Maintains the patient record with information involving therapeutic and pharmacokinetic decisions. Provides information and suggestions on drug therapy and appropriately documents discussion as part of the patient record.
    • Identifies and recommends corrective action for drug-induced problems or potential problems. This would include drug allergies, duplication of therapy, and polypharmacy. Evaluates provider's orders as to appropriateness based on patient medication profiles.
    • Implement protocols approved by the pharmacy and therapeutics committees in the use of non-formulary and protocol drugs.
    • Utilizes the approved process for non-formulary approval when necessary.
    • Utilizes the approved process for adverse drug reaction reporting when necessary.
    • Assists with pharmacy run or team taught classes and clinics as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited College or School of Pharmacy with a baccalaureate degree in pharmacy (BS Pharmacy) and/or a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree
    • Current and active Pharmacist license from any U.S. State, Territory, or Commonwealth or the District of Columbia
    • Prior experience is preferred
